Loudoun County is a hotbed of economic development news. Stay tuned to this blog, where we’ll post a roundup of the biggest stories to appear in the press. As always, if you want to stay up-to-date on everything that’s going on in the world of Loudoun economic development, you can follow us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Loudoun is looking both internationally and locally for economic development success. DED Director Buddy Rizer has traveled to Korea on behalf of the department, and we are expanding our outreach with a Gangneung partnership.
- Agriculture has always been a large part of Loudoun’s economy. We have several programs that are aimed to bolster this and prepare for the next generation of ag producers. These include the Certified Mentor Farmer Program and the Blue Ridge Cattleman’s Association, which is led by our own Gary Hornbaker.
- You can sample the products of Loudoun’s farm-to-table economy during the upcoming Farm to Fork event, starting on July 24.
- While you’re out, be sure to stop by the newly-opened Winery 32 in Lucketts, which is Loudoun’s 43rd winery.
