KC Tregoning was born and raised in Loudoun County, returning to the area after attending Radford University where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.
In 2020, she accepted a position with Loudoun County Economic Development as the Business Retention Specialist. No two days are ever the same as KC helps business owners throughout Loudoun County overcome hurdles they are facing. The best part about her job is providing support to business owners and helping them achieve their goals. In addition to retention efforts, she serves as the liaison to Loudoun’s seven incorporated towns by coordinating economic development initiatives between the county and town leaders.
Prior to joining the department, Tregoning started her professional career with the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, where she managed the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, a program that educates Loudoun students on how to create, pitch, and launch their very own businesses. In 2023, she was selected to be an instructor for the program.
In her free time KC enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with the people she loves.
