A proud Loudoun County native, KC Tregoning returned to her roots after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Radford University. Since 2020, she has served as the Business Retention Specialist for Loudoun Economic Development, where she plays a critical role in supporting local businesses. In this capacity, KC collaborates with business owners to address challenges by providing creative, innovative solutions and leveraging key resources such as zoning and permitting support, workforce development, and real estate location services. Her work not only helps individual businesses thrive but also strengthens Loudoun County’s broader economic ecosystem.
KC’s responsibilities extend beyond individual businesses, as she also partners with Loudoun County’s seven incorporated towns, assisting them in achieving their unique economic development goals. Her strategic insight and commitment to local growth have made her a valuable asset to the community.
Before joining Loudoun Economic Development, KC was the Program Manager for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy at the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, where she fostered the next generation of business leaders. Her leadership and impact in this role earned her the national distinction of YEA Program Manager of the Year.
KC has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including Loudoun’s 40 Under 40 and the Loudoun Chamber’s Community Leadership Award for Young Professionals. She is deeply committed to building a strong, interconnected business community, believing that fostering relationships between business owners creates a vibrant, supportive network.
In addition to her professional achievements, KC is passionate about advocating for people with disabilities, supporting bereaved parents, promoting adoption reform, and championing youth entrepreneurship. Her dedication to both business and community growth reflects her belief in the power of connection and the importance of giving back.
