Webinar: Doing Business with Government Agencies Series–Part Two

This two-part series of workshops aims to familiarize small business owners with SWaM Certification and also registration with eVA. The target audience is the owners of businesses with little knowledge of how to position themselves to conduct business with state and local government agencies.

The second workshop will cover basic navigation of the “Virginia’s Marketplace” (eVA) website with emphasis on training guides, the Virginia Business Opportunity (VBO) listing of solicitations available in the state and local government agencies and reviews of various analytical reports to help in identifying potential markets and strategies to market the company’s capabilities.

Courtney Mustin, Regional Business Services Manager for Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity, will facilitate Part 2 on Wednesday, October 14th for business owners who have already applied for SWaM Certification. For those who want to learn about SWaM Certification, Part 1 will be held again in November.

This workshop is conducted by the Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity and hosted by the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center.
