Neuroscience Hacks for HR

April 7, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

Dulles SHRM

Work has hugely changed.  And with it has come lots of threat and uncertainty.  Since our brains are basically created to function as our “protector” from threat, those leading behavioral change realize better successes with their stakeholders when aspects of how the brain perceives and processes change are taken into account when implementing learning and development initiatives.

Tricia Steege, Transformation Strategies will be sharing the latest evidence based neuroscience research for organizational change – what happens to the brain during change, how it perceives change and the specific tactical actions we can take as leaders to help our clients move from a place of protecting themselves to fully embracing what their organizational leaders are asking them to do.

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  1. Describe how implementing neuroscience concepts/activities facilitate success when influencing behavioral change
  2. Educate their leadership regarding the impact of neuroscience in leading their direct reports
  3. Utilize their increased confidence levels in leading others through change
  4. Describe various hacks to influencing behavioral change based on neuroscience principles
