Meet our Panelists:

Pete Nadanyi – John Marhsall Bank

I am the Loudoun County Regional Executive for John Marhsall Bank and serve as the market leader while also managing the commercial lending activities for Loudoun County.  I am a career banker with 35 plus years of experience.  Prior to joining John Marshall Bank in 2022, I served as the Executive Vice President for Virginia National Bank (formerly The Fauquier Bank).  My banking career started in 1989 when I joined First Virginia Bank’s Management Trainee program.  After rising to a banking center Regional Manager, I then transitioned to a Market Executive in Commercial Banking with BB&T in 2003 upon the merger of First Virginia Bank (FVB) and BB&T.  My career in community banking started in 2019 when I joined The Fauquier Bank after a 29 year career with BB&T / FVB.

John Bell – First Citizens Bank

John has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a graduate of the University of Maryland, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and played baseball on the Terps baseball team. Over the past 25 years, John has lived in Leesburg Va. with his wife of 36 years where they raised three boys.

As Vice President and the Financial Sales Manager of the Leesburg office at First Citizens Bank, he has the privilege of working within the community to support small business owners by delivering strategic financial solutions, fostering client relationships, and driving community focused growth.

He began his Banking career in 1989 as a Personal Banker at Perpetual Savings Bank. Over the next 20 years, he performed many roles at Crestar Bank and then SunTrust Bank within the Retail division including Branch Manager and Area Manager.

From 2008 through 2010 John worked in the Commercial division at SunTrust Bank as a Business Banking Team Leader in the Northern Virginia Market. John also spent 14 years with Sandy Spring Bank as a Regional Manager in the Northern Virginia, District of Columbia and Montgomery County, Maryland markets.

Michelle Arnold – MVB Bank

Michelle Arnold is a dedicated Small Business Commercial Loan Officer at MVB Bank, where she plays a key role in supporting small business owners across Northern Virginia.

Michelle brings a wealth of experience helping business owners secure the financing they need to grow and thrive.  Her diverse background spans commercial lending, retail banking, and personal financial consulting, equipping her with a unique perspective on both business and individual financial needs.
