While Loudoun continues to outperform other Virginia counties on most economic measures, our County is facing many important issues that challenge our future prosperity. From fully leveraging our investment in Metro, to addressing our housing affordability crisis and attracting a millennial workforce, Loudoun’s challenges demand real and effective solutions.
On October 11th, the Loudoun Chamber will keep the focus on these potential hurdles with an in-depth discussion with the region’s top economist and Loudoun’s leading employers, with a focus on what it will take to keep Loudoun prosperous and successful.
This “Keeping it Real in LoCo” event will kick off with a keynote presentation by Mr. Anirban Basu of the Sage Policy Group, the mid-Atlantic region’s most respected and entertaining voice on the issues related to economic growth and quality of life issues. Following Mr. Basu will be a panel discussion featuring Loudoun’s top private sector employers, who will share their thoughts on Loudoun’s ongoing comprehensive plan review and how that plan can best support the workforce needs of Loudoun’s business community.
