Whether state and local workforce development staff are funded by WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker funds, Wagner-Peyser, or Jobs for Veterans State Grants, all programs share a common goal when serving veteran jobseekers: ensure the best possible employment and training outcomes for veterans. On this WorkforceGPS webinar, staff from the Employment and Training Administration, the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service and National Veterans’ Training Institute (NVTI), will provide a refresher on the roles and responsibilities of state and local workforce development staff to ensure effective, integrated, and seamless service delivery to veterans. In addition, this session will provide an overview of the many professional development resources available to veteran service providers through NVTI. These resources and highlights will support the veteran customer experience through the American Job Center experience.
