Eric Major launched K2M Inc. out of his garage in Loudoun in 2004, using his years of selling medical equipment to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. Major launched K2M knowing that he would have to compete with the likes of Johnson & Johnson. The 2018 acquisition by Stryker Corp. made Loudoun home to Stryker’s Spinal Division.
