The Farm Tour is an excellent opportunity for our residents and visitors to learn about local food while building relationships with the farmers and small businesses in our rural economy.
The shared kitchen community has helped “graduate” companies like Little Austria, Kovi Kitchen and Frozen Stuff on a Stick (formerly known as Pop Culture).
Like many small business success stories, Little Austria started with a bold idea, conceived over a few drinks at a Loudoun County brewery.
Loudoun’s holiday festivities are outlined in the “Holidays in the Loudoun Valleys” brochure, which is available at Loudoun County Public Library branches.
Now sold in 26 U.S. states and in Europe and Asia, Catoctin Creek has won the most awards of any whiskey made in Virginia. Here’s how they got their growth spurt.
All farm tour venues are free to visit; many offer food, drinks and products for a fee. The tour will be held rain or shine. Find sample itineraries and other details online at: LoudounFarms.org/FarmTour.
