DESCRIPTION:We’re offering content and a perspective that has yet to be offered in the COVID conversation. \nJoin us for a conversation between an HR expert and an epidemiologist. Together\, we’ll answer questions like: \n\nShould COVID-19 have taken us by surprise or was the science there all along?\nWhat if employees have concerns about returning to work?\nWhat happens next? How can we prepare for what lies ahead?\nWhat if employees feel nervous about working in close proximity to others?\nAre there prevention opportunities that businesses should implement?\n\nMeet our presenters: \nDr. Katie Schenk is a public health scientist and epidemiologist. She has global experience in research and implementation of interventions to prevent and control infectious disease epidemics. She teaches courses in Global Health as a professor at the School of International Service of American University and the Department of Global and Community Health at George Mason University. Dr. Schenk is currently serving as a member of the Medical Reserve Corps in the COVID-19 response.
