DESCRIPTION:In this Lunch and Learn\, we’ll explore Hiring Fundamentals: Building Your Team from a Strong (Legal) Foundation with Matt Neiman. \nPlease join us for a lively discussion as Employment Lawyer Matt Nieman of Jackson Lewis PC walks us through critical pieces of the recruiting\, hiring\, and onboarding process.  Learn how these first steps can serve as either the strong foundation for your business’s growth or a built-in “time bomb” down the line.  Discover what you don’t know and leave with a game plan in mind for strengthening your employment practices and your organization overall. \nAttendance is free and lunch will be provided. \nRegister here \n \nMatthew F. Nieman is a principal in the Washington\, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. \nMatthew represents employers in a broad spectrum of labor and employment law matters\, including discrimination\, retaliation\, wage and hour\, whistleblower claims (including Dodd-Frank\, the False Claims Act\, and Sarbanes-Oxley)\, questions related to the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA)\, and workplace drug-testing issues.
