DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce a FREE 2-Day Fiber Optic Fusion Spicing Certificate Course on July 20th and 21st. This course will be hosted by Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Sumitomo Electric Lightwave. Sumitomo Electric Lightwave is a recognized leader in optical fiber technologies and solutions for data center\, enterprise\, and communication networks. There will also be an opportunity to meet employers in the fiber business who are interested in recruiting motivated individuals for fusion splicing jobs. \nCost. There is NO COST for this training course. This is a FREE event! \nLimited availability. There are a total of 40 seats available for this course\, and they are expected to fill up quickly. If we are not able to offer you a spot for this course\, you will be added to a waiting list for future workshops. \nNo pre-requisites\, but a short prep course. No prior experience or coursework is required to enroll in this workshop.
