DESCRIPTION:As part of a continued effort to increase awareness of Employment Networks (ENs)\, the Department of Labor (DOL) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) are holding a two-part webinar series. This new series will target workforce systems\, partnerships/alliances and consortia of organizations and administrators. It will also assist state and local area workforce leadership with applying to become an EN\, as well as highlighting the benefits to the publicly-funded workforce system. \n\nDESCRIPTION\n\nThis new series of webinars will highlight the benefits of state and local area workforce leadership connecting to and becoming ENs using various well-established models. This webinar will provide a brief description and an overview of the newest resource tool\, Ticket to Work: Operating a Workforce EN Planning Guide and Workbook (which includes a desk aid for front line staff). There will be speakers who are ENs that will provide best practices and learned lessons.
