SUMMARY:GSA Schedule Series - IT 70 (Leesburg)
DESCRIPTION:The GSA Information Technology (IT 70) schedule is the largest offering available from the Multiple Award Schedule program. At also $17 billion in RFP this schedule offers the opportunity for a twenty years continuous contract to do work with Federal Agencies. At the same time it can be a frustrating process with lots of complicated Government Regulations and forms? This training session has been designed to get you started. The conference leader is a well-known GSA schedule consultant who will work with you to familiarize you with the documentation and processes. During the course students will learn the fundamentals of submitting a successful proposal to for the IT70 program. This will enable companies to prepare their own proposals. Neither the PTAP nor the instructor can make any guarantee that the Government will actually issue a contract to the student’s company\, and the company is not required to submit a proposal. \nNote: If you are looking to apply to another schedule such as PSS\, this class will still help you understand the essentials of submitting a successful proposal to obtain a GSA Schedule contract award but all examples and case studies will be using IT70 as the background assumption for training. \nInstructor Gregory D. Ayres is a retired Army Medical Service Corps officer who worked with both large and small companies to develop GSA schedules. In 2000 Mr. Ayres founded a consulting firm to assist small business to qualify for GSA Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) and grow their revenue. To date he has taught more than 80 single and multi-day training classes to more than 375 small companies. He has assisted with the development of more than 150 successful individual schedules awards and modifications through his consulting firm and has a 99% schedule award rate
