DESCRIPTION:The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) is holding its second annual Girl emPower Summit sponsored by Amazon Web Services and Backflow Technology\, LLC. \nWith our successful inaugural summit in 2020\, we are continuing to empower girls this year by holding our second impactful event. \nThe summit is geared toward empowering and mentoring young girls\, ages 12-18 and will be held virtually on Saturday\, September 25\, 2021\, from 10am-12:30pm (EST). \nThe theme of our summit this year is Into the Future\, focusing on empowering young women to find their passions and ensure their bright and healthy future. \nThe summit features a Keynote Speaker and includes immersive breakout sessions with topics including: \n\nCollege & Careers with Daniela Pierre Bravo\, Booking Producer at MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”\nEntrepreneurship and Leadership with Lorraine Rise\, Career Coach at Career UpRising\nMental Health and Wellness with Dr. Suzanne Nixon\, Integrative Behavioral Therapist at Integrative Counseling and Relationship Therapy Inc.\nFinancial Independence with Kleo Curry\, Financial Advisor at UBS\n\nKeynote by LaDavia Drane\, Head of Global Inclusion\, Diversity & Equity at AWS.
