Population and economic growth will drive even greater energy consumption in the future. Increasingly\, the Commonwealth envisions that these needs will be met by clean and diversified sources of energy. This panel will discuss steps that Virginia businesses have taken to support the provision of clean\, safe\, reliable\, and affordable energy\, while also remaining competitive. \nMeet Virginia’s New Regulators\nThis panel will introduce Virginia’s new regulators that cover environmental and energy policies that govern Virginia businesses. They will discuss their priorities for their secretariats and departments and explore how businesses can best work with them to accomplish their goals\, while limiting additional burdens on economic growth.
