DESCRIPTION:Upcoming Statewide Virtual Hiring Event – Wednesday\, March 5th \nVirginia Works and our partners at the Virginia Employment Commission and Virginia Career Works are hosting a statewide virtual hiring event next Wednesday\, March 5th\, from 10 AM – 3 PM. This event will provide each employer who registers with a virtual “booth” and the opportunity to engage with jobseekers via presentations\, chat\, and 1:1 video interviews (like a true job fair\, but from across all regions and industries!) \nTo take part as an employer\, you’ll need to register in advance and ensure that you have an HR representative available to staff your booth. You’ll take a few minutes before the event to prepare an “about me” and upload information about the types of positions you’re looking to fill and links to your online applications/website and job descriptions\, and you can also book one-on-one time in advance with potential candidates to discuss or schedule interviews. \nNext steps to join in: \n\nRegister here via the Premier Virtual tool\nCheck out our two-page Quick-Reference Guide for this event\, attached to this email\n\nWe’ll be hosting two sets of “office hours” for registered employers later this week to answer questions about how to navigate the platform and prepare for the event – on Thursday\, Feb 27th and Friday\, Feb 28th from 12 to 1. DESCRIPTION:The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center will host a Loudoun Job Fair on Tuesday\, March 18\, 2025\, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.\, at the Dulles South Recreation and Community Center\, 24950 Riding Center Drive in South Riding. \nThe job fair will primarily focus on the public sector\, featuring more than 15 state and local government employers with opportunities in administration\, aviation\, education\, engineering\, fire and rescue\, health care\, law enforcement\, transportation\, and other fields. \nThe Loudoun County government\, which was recently designated by Forbes magazine as one of the Best Large Employers in 2025\, will be among the employers represented at the fair. \nJob seekers are encouraged to prepare for the fair: \n\nAttend a virtual preparatory workshop:\n\n“Ready\, Set\, Go to the Job Fair.”\nRegister at wrccareers.eventbrite.com.\n\n\nGet a free copy of “Turn a Job Fair Into a Job Offer:”\n\nCall 703-777-0150 or email wrc@loudoun.gov and provide a mailing address.\n\n\nDress professionally and bring multiple resume copies.\n\nThe event is free however registration is strongly recommended. \nThose planning to attend can pre-register at loudoun.gov/JobFair to receive reminders and updates.
