SUMMARY:New Mental Health Parity Requirements for Group Health Plans
DESCRIPTION:Mental health parity rules have been around for over a decade\, but it appears that federal regulators are increasingly focused on compliance with the Mental Health Parity and Addition Equity Act (MHPEA). The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA) modified and enhanced the mental health parity compliance rules\, which became effective February 10\, 2021. These changes affect most group health plans\, with the heaviest compliance burden felt by self-funded plans. Please join us to learn more about these requirements and how they impact employer-sponsored group health plans. The session is limited to 500 participants; if you cannot make it or if it fills up\, the session will be recorded and the slides and webinar recording will be emailed to all registrants.
