Her book\, “Practical Mobile Forensics” is a best seller from Pack’t Publishing and Heather is featured in Women Know Cyber as one of the top 100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime. \nHeather’s background includes time as a forensic examiner at the US State Department Computer Investigations and Forensics Lab and she’s led the mobile device team for ManTech & Basis Technology. \nWe will create name badges for everyone before the event. We’re open to cyber practitioners\, consultants\, trainers\, policymakers\, software vendors\, students\, etc. This Meetup is intended as an informal forum for the people who seek knowledge of the current state\, status\, challenges\, successes\, and emerging topics in governmental and general cybersecurity technologies. \nAs of June\, 2021\, we have transitioned to in-person meetings. Meetings will feature a speaker on a topic of interest for about 20-30 minutes\, encouraging questions and discussion\, and then allow for networking to include announcements by jobseekers/employers and startups who want to give their elevator pitch on a new cyber company\, idea\, or technology.
