Workforce

Loudoun County is home to one of the fastest growing, most highly-educated and technical workforces in the U.S. Approximately half of working adults commute out of Loudoun for employment, creating a large pool of untapped workforce potential.

The Economic Development Authority is committed to the retention and growth of workforce talent for the county’s 12,000-plus businesses.

The EDA works with the Department of Economic Development and community partners to provide recruitment assistance and career fairs, as well as skills training and job placement programs.

The authority works to proactively attract additional academic programs and institutions of higher education to Loudoun. The EDA also works with those schools to forge connections with the business community in the interests of targeted curriculum development.
