Loudoun-EDA

Economic Development Authority

Class-A Office Space

As part of the county’s new Comprehensive Plan, the first urban policy area has been established around the three future Loudoun County stations for D.C. Metro rail. This was done to help incentivize transit-oriented development, and take advantage of Loudoun’s extensive greenfield opportunities.

The EDA is working to grow Loudoun’s inventory of Class-A office space, a key component for business attraction efforts.

This includes providing incentives and bond financing for both speculative and build-to-suit commercial development projects. This also includes incentivizing mixed use opportunities and workforce housing that will help aid in commercial development.
