Six Billion Seeds for Success

Loudoun Economic Development is planting seeds to build on Loudoun County, Virginia’s economic success.

A successful community has places for people to work. Successful communities build good schools and safe neighborhoods. Successful communities pay for roads and health care services. They attract restaurants, retail and entertainment venues; they’re great places to live, work, play and learn.

Loudoun is a successful community. One reason is because over the last five years, we’ve attracted more than $13 billion in commercial investment – more than $6.4 billion in FY2018 alone. The percentage of taxes paid by businesses has grown from 19 percent to more than 30 percent in just 10 years. The success Loudoun enjoys today has been funded to a significant degree by corporate taxes that have made a thriving community #LoudounPossible.

Here are just a few of the 100+ businesses we helped move to or expand in Loudoun in FY2018.
