Loudoun Economic Development Leadership Earns Rare IEDC Credential, Entrepreneurship Development Professional (EDP)
Loudoun Economic Development continues to push the boundaries when it comes to the professional development and continuing education of its leadership. Executive Director, Buddy Rizer, and Senior Business Development Officer, Dave Diaz, recently achieved their Entrepreneurship Development Professional (EDP) credential through the International Economic Development Council, a distinction that less than 50 Economic Developers nationwide hold. This incredible accomplishment is a clear demonstration of their unwavering commitment, tireless efforts, and unmatched proficiency in the realm of economic advancement.
“At our organization, we take immense pride in having such talented professionals who are not only committed to their personal growth but also to the betterment of our clients and communities,” remarked Rizer of the achievement. “We strive to lead by example, emphasizing the significance of continuous learning and staying updated on economic development best practices. This is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and making a lasting impact in the community through entrepreneurship-led economic development.”
Rizer and Diaz’s accomplishment affirms their dedication to excellence and continuous efforts in delivering the highest quality services to Loudoun’s entrepreneurs and businesses.
“Our team of skilled and experienced economic development experts collaborates closely with public officials, influential business leaders, and dedicated community members to establish a strong foundation for the growth and advancement of the economic development sector,” said Diaz. “By striving for excellence in our profession, we aim to enhance the well-being, quality of life, and opportunities available to individuals, businesses, and communities alike.”
