Loudoun Country Market Provides an Open Field for Farmers, Artisans, and Consumers

Loudoun’s rural businesses have a new venue for sharing their products with local residents, thanks to the Loudoun Country Market, a collaboration between The New Ag School and Loudoun Grown Expo.

Vendors in the Loudoun Country Market will spread out in the lower field at Fabbioli Cellars in Leesburg. Visitors will enjoy live music while they shop from local farmers, artisans, and food trucks. Vineyard tours and educational workshops are also part of the plan to bring a socially-distanced festival atmosphere to this weekly event.

“We need to break out of our box and be safe about it,” Doug Fabbioli says in a Facebook video. Fabbioli is executive director of The New Ag School, and is also known as the “Godfather of Loudoun Wine” at Fabbioli Cellars.

Loudoun Country Market is looking for more vendors for its upcoming launch. Interested farms and rural businesses should email loudouncountrymarketvendors@gmail.com.

Local residents can visit the Loudoun Country Market every Thursday from 4-7 p.m. beginning September 10 through October 1, 2020. The market is located at The New Ag School/Fabbioli Cellers: 15669 Limestone School Rd., Leesburg VA, 20176.
