Business Interruption Fund Drawing Moved to Tuesday Afternoon

Loudoun County COVID-19 Business Interruption Fund

A Message from Loudoun Economic Development Executive Director Buddy Rizer: With Loudoun County’s decision to join governments across the Commonwealth in closing this Friday, we will be moving the random drawing for the third round of COVID-19 Business Interruption Fund to Tuesday, June 23, at 1 p.m.

The drawing will be livestreamed for public viewing on the Loudoun Economic Development Facebook page, LoudounBusinessFund.org, Loudoun.gov, and on cable television channels:

  • Comcast Government Channel 23
  • Open Band Channel 40
  • Verizon FiOS Channel 40

We understand that getting funding into the hands of Loudoun small business owners is of the utmost importance, and we remain committed to a timely payment for grant recipients. The COVID-19 outbreak has had a significant and widespread impact on our economy, and we have tried to be as equally impactful in our response. We remain dedicated to a fair and transparent application process that saves as many #LoudounPossible businesses as we can.”

Given the number of grants being distributed (400), it is critically important that applicants continue to check their email and phone for messages from the Loudoun Economic Development team. Grant recipients can expect to get information on how to receive grant payment, and non-recipients will receive notification and additional recovery resources.

If you have any questions or require translation services, please do not hesitate to contact the Loudoun Economic Development team at loudounbiz@loudoun.gov, or by calling 1-800-LOUDOUN.
