Families from all around the Washington area can explore almost 100 venues during this year’s Fall Farm Tour this Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21. You can map out a weekend of fun using brochures available now at county libraries, Visit Loudoun, and online at

Sites will have special activities for the weekend, ranging from live farm animal interaction to historical tours and hands-on activities. Enjoy mouth-watering produce right off the vine, and take home delicious, farm-fresh food and treats! Several of the farms are pet-friendly, and adults can enjoy craft beverages at dozens of wineries and breweries.

“Having a great family experience and contributing to Loudoun’s economy at the same time is #LoudounPossible,” said Economic Development’s Executive Director Buddy Rizer.

Vanessa Wagner, Loudoun’s acting agricultural development officer added, “All the farms will offer educational content to make your visit even more enriching.”

All farm tour venues are free to visit; many offer food, drinks and products for a fee. The tour will be held rain or shine. Find sample itineraries and other details online at:
