Loudoun’s Rural Economic Development Council Recruiting New Members

The Loudoun County Rural Economic Development Council is seeking business leaders to serve a two-year term on the 32-member REDC. Applicants must apply online by close of business September 7, 2018.

“Loudoun’s agricultural economy is diverse and robust, and we’re looking for candidates who can carry that vision forward,” said Economic Development’s Executive Director Buddy Rizer.

Candidates with the expertise to represent one of the following business sectors are encouraged to apply:

  • Education

“REDC’s mission is to promote the growth and vitality of Loudoun’s rural industries through recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and support and advice to the Department of Economic Development,” explained Agricultural Development Officer Kellie Hinkle.

In addition to submitting an application online, candidates should also send a letter of interest and a resume to the Board of Supervisors and to Economic Development by September 7, 2018:
