Governor Ralph Northam has announced that Discovery, Inc. intends to invest $16 million to expand its global technology and operations hub in Loudoun County.
“Discovery’s state-of-the-art media distribution facility in Loudoun originates over 80 global feeds, including the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and TLC,” said Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair Phyllis Randall.
“With this expansion, Discovery will be adding 240 new jobs to the Broad Run District,” Supervisor Ron Meyer said. “This is another example of the momentum we’ve been seeing as the center of employment in the D.C. area continues to shift toward our community.”
