Wherever you are in the process of starting your business, finding funding is a top concern. That’s why we invited the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association to hold TechBUZZ 20 at Oath (formerly AOL) in Dulles on June 6, 2018.

You should RSVP today, and here’s why.

For 16 customer-validated startups, it’s a priceless opportunity to pitch to a crowd of active investors and CEOs who can offer feedback, funding and future opportunities for partnership and acquisition. While pitch applications for this Loudoun event are closed, this is the perfect place to hone your pitch for the future, and hear feedback directly from the people you need to impress.

In just one afternoon, you can make connections and collect feedback with the exact people you want to reach, and put your company on the fast track to success.

On June 6, Loudoun’s own data analytics startup ROUTE Inc. will take the pitch stage and discuss how they are disrupting the NCAA recruitment process with data science, machine learning and advanced analytics. The web and mobile app is designed to help athletes and their families eliminate guesswork and choose a school that best fits their abilities.

ROUTE is the latest in a long line of Loudoun presenters at this premiere pitch event. Over the years, 18 Loudoun companies have presented, including four in the last year. Those seed-stage TechBUZZ alum have raised more than $60 million in post-presentation funds.

One of Loudoun’s biggest TechBUZZ success stories was ParkMyCloud, which presented at TechBUZZ in April 2016.

At the time, ParkMyCloud offered an automated scheduling and optimization tool for Amazon Web Services that allows clients — including McDonald’s, Sage Software and Avid — to save up to 60 percent on web hosting bills.

Just five months after presenting, ParkMyCloud received $1.65 million in seed series funding, which allowed them to accelerate development of their services for Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure customers.

“Presenting at TechBuzz is truly a milestone in our development,” ParkMyCloud CEO and Co-Founder Jay Chapel said in a press release at the time. “The program has gained a top-notch reputation as a venue for high-traction companies like ours to plug into the investment and tech landscape.”

If you want to get your business off the ground, this is an event you can’t afford to miss.
