DP Facilities Expands to Loudoun County With Ashburn Office

Loudoun County is welcoming a new company to Data Center Alley. DP Facilities, Inc., a data center design, construction and management company, owns the 65,000 square-foot Mineral Gap data center in Wise, Virginia, and is opening a 2,000 square-foot office at 19775 Belmont Executive Plaza in Ashburn.

“Ashburn is the world’s largest data center hub, and we saw it as critical to have a presence here,” said DP Facilities President Mark Gerard. “Loudoun County understands the importance of attracting data centers to complement the growing number of technology companies in this dynamic area. We look forward to working with Loudoun County as we continue to expand and grow our data center footprint.”

DP Facilities’ current clients include federal and state government agencies, and its well-positioned to serve additional government organizations and healthcare, finance, enterprise and technology companies. Its new Ashburn office enables prospective clients in Loudoun to have face-to-face meetings with DP Facilities’ principals, as well as experience what a state-of-the-art data center can mean for their operations.

DP Facilities will begin the search process for additional land acquisition in Loudoun County to continue its innovative building design and best-in-class operations for highly regulated customers who require the utmost in data security and operations. “What we provide, no one else in the industry provides, and we look forward to working with Loudoun County to expand our current footprint,” Gerard said.
