Loudoun County is seeking candidates to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Commission. Members of the Loudoun business community who are interested in volunteering their time and expertise to promote the economic growth of the county should submit an application online no later than Thursday, October 19, 2017.
Applicants are sought from Loudoun business leaders with experience and expertise in the following industries: IT, cybersecurity, education and workforce, international business development, and finance/banking.
The EDAC provides a forum through which Loudoun business leaders offer recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and the Department of Economic Development on matters that impact the economic strength of the county.
Applicants must fill out the standard online application form available on the county’s website at www.Loudoun.gov/advisory. The form must be submitted by Thursday, October 19, 2017. Nominees will be reviewed by the EDAC Executive Committee, which will forward candidates for nomination to the Board of Supervisors. Candidates will be appointed by the board to serve three-year terms.
