Digital Properties Manager
Meet Kristina Bouweiri, president and CEO of Reston Limousine, the D.C. region’s top chauffeured transportation provider. Ironically, the name of her business doesn’t define her anymore, as the limo business she started in Reston came of age in Sterling and now focuses primarily on bus transit solutions.
Kristina started with only five vehicles in 1990, but diversified and grew to a $25 million company today with more than 200 vehicles. She credits the company’s growth to access to universities, commercial and government partnerships, as well as winery and brewery tours.
Today, Reston Limo is the 10th largest fleet operator, nationwide.
As a woman in an industry traditionally dominated by male executives, Kristina has been committed to supporting women entrepreneurs over the years and is the founder of the monthly networking luncheon Sterling Women and co-founder of the annual Virginia Women’s Business Conference.
Admittedly “addicted” to giving back to the community, she sits on the boards or is a member of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Greater Washington, Inova Loudoun Hospital Foundation, GMU School of Business Dean’s Council, Loudoun Education Foundation, and the Loudoun CEO Cabinet, among others.
Recognized for her business acumen regionally and nationally, Kristina is an international speaker on topics ranging from startup success strategies to the use of social media in growing your business. She will be a featured speaker on the “How to Think (and Act) Like a CEO” panel at the Loudoun Small Business Week Conference, taking place on May 15.
