Facebook Small Business Grants COVID-19

Facebook recently announced the launch of a $100 million Small Business Grants Program designed to help communities where Facebook already has a business presence. Given the company’s enormous investment in Loudoun’s Data Center Alley, Facebook listed Ashburn (and surrounding areas) as an eligible territory for businesses to apply.

“We know that your business may be experiencing disruptions resulting from the global outbreak of COVID-19,” the funding website reads. “We’ve heard that a little financial support can go a long way, so we are offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to help during this challenging time.”

Up to 30,000 eligible small businesses in more than 30 countries are able to receive the grant, including businesses in Loudoun County.

To be eligible to apply, your business must:

  • Have between 2 and 50 employees
  • Have been in business for over a year
  • Have experienced challenges from COVID-19
  • Be in or near a location where Facebook operates

Ashburn stands alongside some of the largest cities in the world, thanks to its global dominance as a data center hub. Loudoun County businesses are encouraged to take advantage of their proximity to Ashburn and apply today.
