Growth Summary

Pretty much everything you need to size up Loudoun as a county and understand its role in the larger community in contained in the Growth Summary. Months of work by Loudoun County Government, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and other objective sources culminate in this annual comprehensive report. Survey of Loudoun Residents

What do our residents really think about the county where they live? Every two years Loudoun County Government undertakes a survey to find out. The survey covers residents' level of satisfaction with county services, and obtain their opinions on key county issues in such areas as growth management, public safety and taxes. The latest such survey of about 1,000 Loudoun County residents was conducted in November 2007.

 

 

 

 

Market Analysis of Eastern Loudoun County Office
and Industrial Land

 

This 2004 Department of Economic Development report was created to assist stakeholders - landowners, developers, and local government officials – understand the supply and demand dynamics of commercial land, and help them to capitalize on the next economic expansion.

 

Data used in this report has been updated and was published in December 2006.

 

 

 

 An Analysis of the Retail Sector in Loudoun County

When measured by total full and part time employment, retail is the second largest industrial sector of the U.S. economy. And it’s not your imagination, Loudoun County attracts visitors to the area with its own array of high-quality retail shopping, including everything from entrepreneurial boutiques to Nordstroms, Macys, and the Leesburg Premium Outlets. This 2003 study reports on these “retail capturing” trends in the industry in the U.S., the Washington Metro Area, and area localities, with particular attention to Loudoun County.
