Loudoun County Virginia More Than You Think

There's Lots of Help on Hand

Working with and assisting our business community requires the talent and resources of many key county and regional partners, found here:

Loudoun County Resources:

  • Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce: serves to "Make the Connection" and ensure the growth and development of new and existing businesses in Loudoun County.
  • Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association: the leader in marketing Loudoun County as a destination, the LCVA lets business travelers, event planners, and tourists understand and appreciate all of Loudoun’s special assets.
  • Loudoun Small Business Development Center: Are you currently a small business owner? Perhaps you're looking to start your small business. You might need assistance with the financial and legal aspects of expansion, or possibly, new marketing and sales strategies. The SBDC is the place to start.
  • Loudoun Cattlemen’s Association: Where’s the beef? The Loudoun Cattlemen’s Association can help you find it, as well as educate and promote fellowship and work in connection with the production and sale of livestock or value added livestock products.
  • Loudoun Winegrower’s Association: Loudoun makes great wine, and the county’s Winegrowers Association brings together wine grape growers and winery owners to advance their mutual interest in producing it. They share knowledge about Loudoun’s soils and climate, learn new grape-growing and wine-making techniques, and gain greater appreciation of the joys and challenges of making great wine.

State and Regional Resources:

  • Greater Washington Initiative: A regional cooperative marketing organization, The Greater Washington Initiative (GWI) promotes the Greater Washington region—encompassing the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Suburban Maryland—as an ideal location for locating or expanding a business. The Initiative serves as a one-stop shop for corporate clients and site selection consultants by providing complimentary and confidential client services and research.
  • Northern Virginia Technology Council: The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is the membership association for the technology community in Northern Virginia. NVTC has about 1100 member companies representing more than 200,000 employees.
  • Northern Virginia Workforce Technology Board: Along with its Skills Source Group, the NVWTB works to identify appropriate contribution and investment opportunities that will sustain, enhance and create workforce development initiatives on behalf of employers, jobseekers and workers throughout the region.
  • Virginia Economic Development Partnership: A state-level partner of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development, the VEDP focuses on cultivating new business investment, fostering international trade growth and encouraging the expansion of existing Virginia businesses.
