Loudoun County heißt deutsche Unternehmen willkommen!
Loudoun County is home to a growing number of foreign-owned companies. Loudoun is well poised to continue growing its international presence by offering opportunities for international companies to establish an East Coast location. There is access to the world from three major airports – Baltimore Washington International (BWI), Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA). and, our own, Washingtion Dulles International Airport (IAD). These airports offer direct flights to 40 international locations, including major cities in Europe, the Middle East, and direct flights from Dulles to Beijing, China.
In Loudoun County, businesses have access to a cosmopolitan workforce, with the region’s foreign-born residents comprising nearly 20 percent of the region’s total population, and 44 percent of this foreign-born population holding a bachelors degree or higher. International business associations and embassies further complement the resources available to our growing list of companies from around the world.
If you are business owner who would like to locate your company in an ideal U.S. location, contact Beth Hain, Manager of Business Investment.
The county has already seen its international efforts take root abroad. In February 2006, Loudoun County created a formal sister-city relationship with Main-Taunus-Kreis (MTK) in the Federal Republic of Germany. The agreement establishes relationships with political, cultural, and economic leaders in the MTK region as well as in other parts of Germany, with a goal of furthering Loudoun's international economic development program.
